A few notes I took from a book or webinar I completed a while back were found while cleaning up the office.  Simple and worth a quick share.

Eat clean – Eat often – Stay hydrated

Fuel Your Body

  • Whole Grains
  • Minimally Processed Food

(brown rice & oatmeal)

Build Your Body

  • Beans
  • Fish
  • Poultry
  • Lean Red Meat

(Notice the trend?  Less legs the better)

Prevent Body Disease

  • Herbs
  • Spices
  • Fruits
  • Veggies

(Keep your plate looking like a rainbow with many colors)

Protect Your Body – Healthy Fats

  • Olive Oil
  • Nuts
  • Avacado
  • Fish Oil

Not much of that in any quantity and certainly not quality will be found in fast food or a mini mart.  Keep your time in those places minimal and work to follow the above rules as often as possible.
